This three day activity-packed festival will begin on Friday September 3rd at noon and run until 9pm, Saturday from 10am -10pm and Sunday from 10am – 6pm. Admission is $4 and free for children 3 and under.
Exlore the beautiful grounds of historic WVU Jackson’s Mill while you browse premium arts and craft vendors, taste spectacular food, take in the heritage, gospel, country and christian music, or learn how to square dance. There will be some amazing activities for children including great fun at the Country Fair located in the barn. Children can ride ponies, take part in carnival games and enjoy the petting zoo. Friday night will open with hot air balloon rides for the whole family. Saturday night will end with a fabulous fire works display on the WVU airstrip.
There will a variety of exhibits and demonstrations, a vintage car show, handwork show, antique show and sale and a booksale celebrating West Virginian talent! If you are a history buff you can tour the old mill, be part of a grind at Balker’s Mill or take in the civil war reinactor shows and historical encampment.
