Up to seventy-five percent of the proceeds raised in the Komen Race for the Cure® remains in West Virginia to fund projects related to breast cancer education, treatment and screening. Then up to 25% of the proceeds will be used to help fund the Susan G. Komen For the Cure® Award and Research Grant Program for research.
