The Bronze Look, LLC is once again bringing world-renowned artists to Princeton, WV. Cameo art glass artisan Kelsey Murphy and Robert Bomkamp will make an appearance at The Bronze Look on February 6th from 10am until 3pm.
Cameo art Glass can be traced back to Ancient Rome and was a cherished possession of emperors and royalty. In the Art Nouveau era, carving and removing ten layers of glass using acids, hand-tools and engraving wheels would have required years to complete one piece of cameo art glass. Kelsey Murphy and her partner Robert Bomkamp have not only mastered a sandblasting technique that has cut the process down to days but they have also set world records with the number of layers they have carved.
For their appearance they will bring with them art glass fit for a king. One of a kind vases and critters that are sure to amaze visitors and collectors.
