Christmas In Italy Dinner Concert

The Event will be at The Village Square conference Center on Route 19 South, in Clarksburg, WV. The evening begins with a delicious Italian style buffet, followed by a double concert, featuring the Florence Chico Cann Children’s Chorus and New York City Performer, Award Winning Song Writer, Recording Artist “michael CASTALDO”. Michael will bring an added suprise to the evening with an Italian Olive Oil Tasting. He will guide us through the history and ever popular evolution of olive oil from Italy that tastes like non-other. The Florence Chico Cann Children’s Chorus will open the evening with Italian Christmas carols sung in Italian and English. their program will also be featuring the story telling of the famous “Strega Nonna”. The children’s chorus, under the direction of Rita Brockway of Clarksburg, is made up of students of various ethnic backgrounds. They perform each year at the Italian Heritage Festival on Labor Day Weekend. The group came about through the generosity of Carmine Cann, in memory of his wife Florence, who loved children. As soon as the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival is over, the children begin rehearsing for the upcoming christmas event, and help to bring a little bit of “Italia” to the Mountain State as “Natale”, Christmas, draws near.
