Opening night, July 26, will feature
free admission and the Mineral County Fair Queen Pageant
Local country music favorite Charlie Kenney also will perform on the stage prior to and after the queen competition.
Mark Preston’s Comedy Safari will be featured in the midway area during the week.
Gambill Amusements rides open Tuesday, July 27,
Dave Martin’s Bull Ride at the grandstand.
Frankfort Middle School’s renowned Teal Steel will perform two shows that evening.
On Wednesday, July 28, the Demolition Derby fires up at the grandstand with stage entertainment featuring the twin-sister act, Spittin’ Image.
The ATV Pull is back by popular demand on Thursday, July 29, at the grandstand and the Takoma Park band will play two shows.
The Four-Wheel Drive Mud Bog takes to the pit at the grandstand on July 30-31.
The South of the River Band will perform on the midway stage for two shows on Friday, July 30, and Rick K. and the Allnighters round out fair week on Saturday, July 31.
The grand feature parade is set for Saturday, July 31.
Grandstand attractions start each night at 7 p.m. with stage entertainment set at 7 and 9 p.m.
Admission to the 60th annual fair is a pay-one-price fee that includes parking, gate admission and all rides and entertainment. Gates are open Tuesday through Friday from 6 to 10:30 p.m. and from 5 to 11 p.m. on Saturday.
